At the same time, former diplomat Ronen Sen has also hoped to improve the mutual relations between the two countries. Ronen Sen had the opportunity to meet George Bush and Barack Obama and Joe Biden several times during his tenure, but he met Donald Trump only once. But he feels that Biden will pursue the foreign policy of America during Donald Trump's time because there is no change in the foreign policies of America for the last two decades. How India and America will have mutual relations, it is being seen by linking them with Sino-American relations.
Ronen Sen believes in this aspect, 'India will be watching this aspect. The US is also competing with China and countering it as well. But there will be no conflict situation. At the same time, India will also remain important for America from the geo-political point of view, but on the matter of China, they will not support our territorial claim nor will we deploy an army for us.
However, Ronen Sen believes that cooperation between India and America in the defense sector can increase. According to him, a lot of progress has been made during this period in the last four years, but still, a lot of things are pending. The agreement between the two countries of 2005 was not fully followed, since 1987, the two countries began to increase cooperation in the defense sector.
By the way, India is among the closest allies of America in defense matters.
According to Major General Ashok Mehta, the current relationship between India and America has reached a better position than the friendship of the Indo-Soviet Union of the 1970s.
