In the video, Honey Singh explained that he was only a guest at the show. He had met with a gynecologist and a abuse for lunch two days prior. The singer said that he learned from them that young people today are struggling with intimate transmitted diseases. Honey Singh said, "When I saw the Gen Z audience, my thought was to give them a message in their own language." He said he thought they would understand better if he spoke in the language used on OTT platforms.
Honey Singh further added, "But that language offended many. I apologize to them. I had no intention of hurting anyone. To err is human. I will try my best not to repeat this mistake again."

Honey Singh also released a statement, in which he wrote, "I want to address a video of mine that is currently circulating online and has caused hurt and distress to many. I am truly sorry for the way my words were interpreted and the offensive connotations that arose from them. My intention was never to hurt, disrespect, or offend anyone."
