The cases of Covid-19 have increased rapidly in Kerala. Bharatiya Janata Party national JP Nadda has taken a jibe at the Pinarayi Vijayan government over the rising corona cases in the state. JP Nadda said that an average of 20,000 cases is coming to Kerala. There was a lot of talk about covid management, now where did that popular model of corona management go? JP Nadda attacked the Pinarayi Vijayan government, saying that the Kerala government did not perform its responsibility properly in fighting the Covid-19 epidemic. In a video conference inaugurating the party's new district office in Kozhikode, Kerala, the BJP National President said that the Union Health Minister has given a special package to Kerala on Monday so that the war against Corona can be fought. The BJP chief said that the role that the state government should play in this Covid epidemic was not done in Kerala. The population of Kerala is 3.58 crore and 38 lakh Covid cases have been reported here while in Uttar Pradesh 17 lakh Covid cases have been reported for 22.9 crore population.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is also present in Kerala. Regarding his visit, JP Nadda said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has come on a political tour in Kerala. There should be no politics on the issue of a minor girl in Delhi. Rahul Gandhi is on a three-day visit to his parliamentary constituency Wayanad. Tuesday is the second day of his tour. Rahul Gandhi, who reached Thiruvambadi, targeted the Center during his speech, saying, Demonetisation, GST, and now agriculture laws are designed to weaken the informal structure of the Indian economy. The result of these actions will be that India will not be able to employ its youth.

However, let us tell you that earlier, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, who arrived here on Monday with a team to review the situation of Covid-19 in Kerala, had said that the central government has taken steps to further strengthen the health infrastructure of the state. 267.35 crore and it will give him 1.11 crore doses of vaccine for August and September. Mandaviya had tweeted after a meeting with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Health Minister Veena George that "in addition to Rs 267.35 crore, an additional Rs 1 crore each will be given for setting up a drugstore in each district of the state."

Mandaviya had informed that an intensive meeting has been held with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Health Minister Veena George and state government officials to review the status of coronavirus infection in Kerala. He said, 'The central government has allocated Rs 267.35 crore to Kerala under the Emergency Covid Action Package-2.' This will further strengthen the health infrastructure of the state and effective management of COVID-19. Apart from this, one crore rupees will be given to each district of Kerala for making medicine stores.

On Monday, 12,294 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Kerala and 142 more people lost their lives due to the epidemic. With this, the total cases of infection increased to 36,81,965 and the death toll reached 18,743. In a release issued by the state government, it was said that 18,542 people were cured on the last day.
