Will Germany send lethal weapons to Ukraine? Russia said - it is not acceptable

The dispute over Ukraine continues. Now Russia has called Germany's sending of deadly weapons to Ukraine unacceptable. It has been said that this step will not contribute to the constructive development of bilateral relations between Germany and Russia.

Speaking to the Russian state news agency Sputnik, Russian Ambassador to Germany Sergei Nekaev said that the country's leading lenders, including the German chancellor, foreign minister, agree that sending lethal weapons to Ukraine is not acceptable. It will in no way be constructive and facilitate the relationship between Germany and it.

In recent days, Ukraine has consistently criticized Germany for refusing to provide direct military aid, as well as obstructing arms deliveries by NATO allies. German Chancellor Scholz has said that Germany will not allow the export of arms to troubled areas. Germany wants to support Ukraine financially instead of military help.

The US has consistently said that Russia can attack Ukraine by the end of February. However, Moscow has denied invading Ukraine. However, Russia has expressed concern about the growing military presence of NATO in Eastern Europe. The Kremlin has accused Western countries of trying to undermine Russia's security.

US President Joe Biden has threatened Moscow that if Russia attacks Ukraine, the Kremlin will face sanctions that Russian President Vladimir Putin would not have seen.
