Russia-Ukraine war: Russian army fired 10 missiles in the city of Mykolaiv, bombings in residential areas, destroyed two universities

The Russian army has destroyed two universities in the Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv. Targeting the university, 10 missiles were fired one after the other, due to which loud explosions were heard in the area around the university and a plume of smoke rose.

 

Security personnel is involved in the rescue. There is talk of heavy destruction. The details of the dead and injured are not yet available. Earlier, 23 people were confirmed dead in a missile attack in the city of Vinnytsia. Soon after that, this major attack has been done from the Russian side.

 

According to Western military officials, the National Shipbuilding University and Mykolaiv National University were blown up in the missile attack. A video of the explosion has also surfaced, in which a plume of smoke is seen rising.

 

Russian officers charged with war crimes

 

Western military officials accused Russian officials of war crimes at the G20 meeting on Friday. US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen objected to the attacks by Russia. He said that this is a cruel and unjust war. It also said that Russia should take responsibility for the loss of innocent lives and economic losses.

 

There have been more than 3 thousand missile attacks

 

The attack has been described by Ukraine as another crime of peaceful city occupants. Ukraine's ministry said in a tweet that Ukraine has already faced about 3,000 missile strikes. This is another gruesome attack.

 

Russian army targeted Zaporizhia

 

Earlier on Wednesday, Russia had fired two rockets in Zaporizhia province. According to the Kyiv Independent, 23 people were seriously injured in the rocket attack. After the Russian attack, the Emergency Department is conducting a rescue operation in the area. On Tuesday, 37 civilians were killed in a Russian attack in Donetsk.
