New Delhi, March 16 (IANS) AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal said he will respond later Sunday whether or not he will take on BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in Varanasi.

Kejriwal, now in Karnataka to address election rallies, tweeted: "Many people (are) asking me: 'Will I contest against Modiji?' I will talk on this issue in today's really at Bangalore."

The former Delhi chief minister reached Bangalore from Nagpur Friday night and held road shows Saturday. He is now in Chikkaballapur, and will return to Bangalore Sunday evening.

AAP leader Manish Sisodia told IANS that it had been more or less decided that Kejriwal will contest against Modi if the latter is fielded in Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. The BJP announced Saturday that its candidate in Varanasi will be Modi, the Gujarat chief minister.
