When I first met you, I didn't give it a second thought

But after a few hours, I knew that I was caught

I loved your hair, your voice, and your smile

I knew I could make it work if we just talked for awhile

But that wasn't as easy as I thought it would be

because for some reason you just didn't want to talk to me

But that soon changed and you stole my heart

I didn't trust you, but it was a start

I had so much fun, but it was over so fast

Now all I can wonder is how long these feelings will last?

Years later, the feelings are still here...

maybe you'll never feel the same and that's my biggest fear.

Maybe someday you'll wake up and realize just what you mean to me,

but probably not,

so I'll move on and find the one meant for me.
