The film 'Blue Beetle' is based on the DC comic book. The film's story revolves around Jamie Reyes, who returns to his family's home after college, only to find that his family is in dire financial straits, losing the house they've been renting for years. Jenny Kord is the heiress of Kord Industries, but her views differ from those of her aunt, Victoria Kord. Kord Industries is a large technology company run by Victoria Kord. Which becomes the most dangerous modern weapon. Jenny Kord hands Jenny Reyes a stolen scarab hidden in a fast-food box. Jaimie Reyes learns that the Blue Beetle is a sentient piece of ancient alien technology with a mind of its own. He bonds with Jaimie Reyes, protecting her, giving her the ability to fly, and to create any weapon she can imagine. When Victoria Kord learns that the scarab is in the possession of Jamie Reyes, she sets out to obtain it. The story of the entire film revolves around how Jamie Reyes saves herself and her family from the evil designs of Victoria Cord.

 

Jamie Reyes protects himself and his family and girlfriend, Jenny Kord, like a superhero. If you are watching this movie for the first time, then the amazing scenes of the movie will impress you a lot. But if you have seen movies like 'Iron Man', 'Spider-Man' and 'Black Panther', then many scenes in this movie will look like you have seen these scenes somewhere. One striking feature of this film is the solidarity of the family in times of trouble. When Jaimie Reyes is in trouble, the whole family comes together to help her, a scene that is presented in a very emotional way in the film.

 

Even though some scenes of the film 'Blue Beetle' are similar to those of 'Iron Man', 'Spider-Man' and 'Black Panther', the film presents the journey of a common man to become a superhero and his struggle in a very interesting way. Has been done The action sequences and visual effects of the film take the audience to a new world. The fight scenes between superheroes and villains add to the thrill and excitement. The film is one such story of the new superhero, which takes the audience into the world of their struggles, journey, and uniqueness. Wherein his adventures, action sequences entertain the audience a lot.

 

Actor Jolo Mariduena's performance as Jaimie Reyes and Blue Beetle is impressive in the film. From the role of a teenage college student to the role of a Blue Beetle superhero, he has played it very effectively. Bruna Marquez, Victoria's niece and Jamie Reyes' girlfriend is beautiful in the film and impresses with her performance. Adriana Barraza's performance as Jamie's grandmother is commendable. It was a different experience to see Susan Sarandon as Victoria Kord, a businesswoman who makes a strong impression as Ted Kord. Susan Sarandon's character represents the theme of imperialism in the name of democracy and is driven by her need to be ambitious and prove herself after her brother mysteriously disappears and quits his company. Damian Alcazar as Jaime's father, Jorge Lopez as uncle, Elpidia Carrillo as mother, Belisa Escobedo as sister, and Raul Trujillo as Victoria Cord's bodyguard are commendable.
