Hong Kong's famous singer and songwriter Coco Lee has passed away. At the age of 48, he said goodbye to this world. According to a Facebook post by Coco Lee's sisters, the singer died after attempting suicide.

Though Coco sought professional help and tried her best to fight the depression, sadly she was unable to overcome the depression. The sisters said she attempted suicide at home on July 2 and was taken to a hospital, where she remained in a coma until her death.

 

Lee was born in Hong Kong in 1975. She then moved to America, where she attended middle school and high school. Before this, she started a highly successful career as a pop singer in Asia. Initially a Mando-pop singer. He also released albums in Cantonese and English in his 30-year career. She was the first Chinese singer to be signed by Sony Music globally and voiced the heroine Fa Mulan in the Mandarin version of Disney's Mulan. Also sang the Mandarin version of the theme song, Reflection.
