Even after the onset of the cold, many parts of the country are getting hot. According to the Meteorological Department, after 14 years in the country, the day temperature in November is approaching 35 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature recorded in Delhi in 2008 was 33 degree Celsius. On 7 November 2022, 33.5 degree Celsius was recorded. Earlier in 2001, the maximum temperature in the number month was recorded as around 36 degrees.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of snowfall with light to moderate rains in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu, and Kashmir, Ladakh from 12-13 November. Its effect will also be seen in the states of the north including Delhi. The department has further said that there is a possibility of torrential rains in South India, due to which there may be mild cold in those states as well.

Why is this happening?

According to meteorologists, the wind is coming from both the north and east direction. The wind that is coming from the north is passing through the east. Scientists say that when the Western Disturbance becomes fully active in Pakistan, then only the wind will come from the north direction. Only after this, with the fall in temperature, the cold will increase.

The highest temperature was recorded at 36 degree Celsius in Saurashtra and Kutch in Gujarat.

The lowest temperature of 10.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Mandla in Madhya Pradesh.

1. Rajasthan - mercury crossed 40 in Sirohi

This time in Rajasthan, the intensity of the sun has been seen at the beginning of the season. In the early days of November in more than 10 cities including Jaipur, Ajmer, and Udaipur, the day temperature went above 35 degrees Celsius. On November 5, the maximum temperature in Sirohi broke all records and the mercury crossed 40 degrees Celsius.

2. Madhya Pradesh- Light heat effect for just one week

Meteorologists say that there has not been much drop in temperature in Madhya Pradesh so far in November. Right now the third system is being built. Two systems have passed through Pakistan. The new system will be active from November 9. Scientists say that the sun's rays will come to the earth during the day, but due to cloud cover, the heat cannot go to the upper atmosphere at night. Due to this, the mercury will rise at the night, due to which there will be a feeling of light heat.
