Actor Prosenjit Chatterjee, who will be seen in the upcoming web series Jubilee, revealed that regional actors do not get much work in Mumbai. Talking about the rise of OTT content, the actor said that nowadays young actors are getting a lot of exposure in the industry.

Prosenjit has been working in the Bengali film industry for several decades. Some of his popular films include Amar Sangi, Biyer Phool, Chokher Bali, Autograph, Baishe Sarbo, Mishawar Rohosyo, and Jatishwar. He has also acted in Bollywood, most notably in Dibakar Banerjee's 2012 film Shanghai, starring Emraan Hashmi, Abhay Deol, Kalki Koechlin, and Tillotama Shome.

Now, in a recent interview with The Indian Express, Prosenjit has revealed why he hasn't done more films in Bollywood even after starring in films like Aandhi, Veerta, and Sone Ki Zanjeer in the 1990s. He said, "I think it happens with all regional actors, it's not that we come to Mumbai and do a lot of work. I worked in Shanghai last, which has been a long time now... There is so much talent here and so many doors have been opened. New platforms have come up and everyone is getting a lot of exposure."

Adding further, the actor said, "Language is not an issue anymore. It's a great time for the young generation. With this show also, we are trying to do something very unique... Times have changed. Bengali artists have done a lot more."
