Rishi Sunak UK: PM Sunak announced Grooming Gangs Task Force, said- Safety of women is paramount, will take strict action

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Monday announced new measures to tackle \'grooming gangs\'. He has announced a new task force for this. Specialist officers will also be included in this task force for strict action against the culprits responsible for harass abuse of children and girls. Along with this he claimed that political correctness will not come in the way of action.

A day ago, Britain\'s Home Minister Suella Braverman said in her statement that the gangs who commit such crimes are men and almost all of them are British Pakistanis. But the authorities have turned a blind eye to these signs for fear of being called politicised, racist and bigoted.

Before announcing the new task force, Sunak said in a statement that the safety of women and girls is paramount to her. A Grooming Gang Taskforce will be set up with specialist officers supported by the National Crime Agency, who will assist local forces and offer the use of ethnicity data to help police investigations.

Sunak warned that political correctness has prevented us from calling out hate criminals who prey on children and young women for too long. Now we will stop at no one to eliminate these dangerous gangs. Downing Street says the task force will consist of officers with extensive experience investigating grooming gangs. They will provide the necessary support to forces across the country to root out grooming gangs and put criminals behind bars.

Data analysts will work with the task force using police-recorded ethnicity data and intelligence to identify the perpetrators of these crimes.
