Many states of North India including the capital Delhi are battling a severe heatwave these days. Heatwave conditions may occur in isolated parts of Delhi, Punjab, Uttarakhand, West Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Jharkhand. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is going to be more or less similar for the next two days. Weather changes can be seen from June 11. It will be cloudy in many states of North India. Scattered rain with thunderstorms may occur in isolated places.
According to the Meteorological Department, today's minimum temperature in Delhi is going to be 29 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature will be up to 44 degrees Celsius. According to Skymet Weather, Monsoon is likely to remain active over Northeast India and remain weak over South Peninsula. Light to moderate rain with isolated heavy rain is likely over Sikkim, the northeastern part of the country, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Light to moderate rain may occur over Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, and parts of Tamil Nadu. Rain activity is likely to increase over South Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, and North Interior Karnataka. Heavy rain may occur in these areas.
