The company claims that it has prepared a kit that provides accurate information and will conduct millions of tests every week in collaboration with the National Health Agency. The report will allow Britons to know if they have 100 percent antibodies to ward off the virus.

Even though it is about to start, but many places across the world are doing the first antibody test. Recently, Medona also underwent an antibody test. He says that I have come to know that I have antibodies. Now I am going for a long drive in the car.

Test is an important step to prevent infection

Testing company Roche Diagnostic claims that antibodies test will not give false negative reports, it will give 100% accurate results. The company's managing director Geoff Twist says antibody testing is a major step to prevent the spread of coronaviruses. This will help the front workers and the treatment will be better.

Immediate information about immunity

Chief Medical Advisor of the British Government says that we do not have much information about immunity of people right now. According to Dr. Jenny Harris, Deputy Chief Medical Officer of England, the level of immunity can vary in every patient of Corona. Doctors believe that the immunity that remains in people a week remains half after being infected.

Question five: Understand ABCD of antibodies

1) What is antibody test

When you come in contact with a virus, your body starts making antibodies that live in blood and tissue. These antibodies are proteins that prevent the virus from spreading in the body. Through the test, it is found out whether the body is making them or not. If it is present then it increases the fear that you have come in contact with Covid-19.

2) How does this test work?

Doctor Jeffrey Zhang, director of Mount Sinai Health System's Clinical Laboratories and Transfusion Services, says antibodies typically take from a week to 14 days to form. Their level depends on the immune system and the time of exposure. However, having fewer antibodies also does not mean that you are not infected. It is similar to a common blood test.

3) If there are antibodies, can I fight the virus?

Can not say exactly this. Because the antibody test does not detect immunity against Covid 19. It would be too early to say that antibodies reveal immunity. Because this is the new virus. However, some experts have reported that the presence of antibodies gives some protection, based on the experiences of other viruses including SARS. But it is not clear how long. China's doctor Zhang says, the problem is that no evidence has been found yet, which suggests that antibodies can prevent getting sick again. I think many people think that antibodies will provide protection in many cases. '

4) Can antibodies be detected by infection?

The antibody test is different from the test that detects Covid 19 and will not tell if you are infected or not. Antibodies take time to produce, so having low levels may mean that your body did not have time to make them before the virus.

5) Are tests accurate?

According to the 14 available antibodies test study, only three gave the most reliable results. However, this study is yet to be reviewed. Where a test never produced incorrect results. At the same time, there were two other tests which showed one percent wrong results. These three tests confirmed up to 90 percent of antibodies in the body. The World Health Organization has advised not to rely on these tests for policy making, citing the ideas of some countries' immunity passports and risk-free certificates.
