3 people from an Indian family drowned in the sea: Father jumped after seeing their son and daughter drowning on Oman beach, and all three still missing

An example of how heavy playing with ocean waves can be was seen on a beach in Oman. Three people of the same family having fun in the water were washed away by the strong waves of the sea. A heartbreaking video of the accident has surfaced.

 

In this accident, Shashikant Mahmane, a resident of Sangli, Maharashtra, and his 9-year-old daughter Shruti and 6-year-old son Shreyas drowned in the sea. Both the children were playing in the water. Then a strong wave swept them away. Shashikant also jumped into the water to save both the children.

 

The Oman Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority said on Sunday that people had crossed the circle on Mughsel Beach. Eight people had fallen after the wave hit. Three people were rescued shortly after the accident.

 

Family members went to Oman for the Eid holiday

 

Shashikant Mhamane, a resident of Jath tehsil of Sangli, is a mechanical engineer by profession. He works in a private company in Dubai. Last Sunday, he along with his family and some friends had gone to Oman for the Eid holiday. Here he was enjoying the waves of the sea with his family on Moghsel Beach in the Salalah area.

 

Jath's Tehsildar Jeevan Bansode said that after receiving the news of the tragic accident, other members of Shashikant's family have gone to Oman.

 

Video going viral on social media for two days

 

The video of the incident is going viral on social media for two days. It can be seen in the video how the strong waves of the sea are taking away the people present there. The family members could not be identified till the time of the incident, but the police told during the investigation that all of them are residents of the Asia continent. Apart from this, some people were telling him about Indian families.
