Russia accused of ordering civilian killings

Russia out after voting in UNHRC

 

Russia was expelled from the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in a vote held at the UN on Thursday after the Bucha attack. During the voting, 93 votes were cast against Russia, and 24 in favor. 58 countries including India stayed out of voting. UNHRC was formed in 2006. Russia is the second country out of it. Earlier, Libya was taken out of the UNHRC.
