72 new patients found in 4 hours, 2099 corona positive so far in the state, 1699 migrants among total infected

Ranchi / Dhanbad / Jamshedpur. 72 new corona patients have been found in the state in 24 hours. After the arrival of new patients, the number of infected patients in the state has reached 2099. The good news is that 1473 of these patients have recovered. This means that the number of active coronavirus patients in the state now stands at 626. On the other hand, eight of the 24 districts of the state were corona free, but six of these districts have again received newly infected patients on Sunday. Dumka and Pakur are the only two districts in the state where there is not a single corona case.

 

Out of the total infected patients in the state, 1699 patients are migrants who have returned to Jharkhand after May 1 from other states. Simdega has the highest number of migrants infected among them. A total of 317 corona patients have been found here, of which 312 are migrants.

 

A maximum of 14 patients were found in East Singhbhum on Sunday. The two patients who were found in Ranchi were admitted to the isolation ward of RIMS. One is of Lovadih, who returned from Gurgaon. On 18 June he came to Rheims for treatment due to a cold and cough. The other infected is a 24-year-old youth of Giridih. Her relative got infected a week ago. Apart from this, 1 in Khunti, 7 in Gumla, 7 in Bokaro, 6 in Giridih, two in West Singhbhum (Chaibasa), 7 in Godda, 11 in Deoghar, 2 in Koderma, 4 in Hazaribagh, 2 in Ramgarh, 5 in Dhanbad, 1 new positive patient has been found in Sahebganj, 1 in Lohardaga.

14 infected people died in the state so far

The death toll from Corona is 14 across the state. Seven of them have died in Ranchi, two each in Bokaro while one patient has died in Gumla, Hazaribagh, Simdega, Koderma and Giridih. The administration has not included the death of a retired DDC and a laborer in Bengal in the state.

 

1473 patients have become healthy in the state so far

A total of 1473 people have become healthy in corona infected patients in the state. These include 29 from Bokaro, 30 from Chatra, 10 from Deoghar, 114 from Dhanbad, four from Dumka, 164 from East Singhbhum, 84 from Garhwa, 50 from Giridih, one from Godda, 53 from Gumla, 122 from Hazaribagh, 20 from Jamtara. 22 patients of Khunti, 77 of Koderma, 46 of Latehar, 37 of Lohardaga, 30 of Pakur, 44 of Palamu, 98 of Ramgarh, 139 of Ranchi, 24 of Saraikela, three of Sahebganj, 207 of Simdega and 35 of West Singhbhum were healthy. Has returned home.
