Foreigners were also punished

Apart from the residents of Saudi, this death sentence has also been given to some foreigners. Most of them were residents of Yemen. After the trial in the court, all these criminals were sentenced to death by the court.

Of the 81 people hanged, 73 were Saudi nationals, seven Yemenis, and one Syrian. They tried to kill the security officers. Several police stations were targeted. One of them was a Yemeni citizen who worked for ISIS. Many were terrorists affiliated with Al Qaeda, Islamic State, and the Houthi rebel organization.

Many accused were associated with terrorist organizations

The Saudi court sentenced these 81 criminals after finding them guilty of kidnapping, torturing, killing a security officer, and creating a terrorist cell. The Saudi Press Agency said in a statement that those executed were planning attacks in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi government will take strict action against terrorism in such cases.
