These fake Twitter accounts played an important role in inciting emotions among the common people regarding the border dispute.
Local travelers and traders are being targeted amid border dispute
The boundary dispute between the two states is pending in the Supreme Court. Till the decision of such court comes, both the states were asked not to give any new claim and statement regarding the boundary. The Chief Ministers of both states were ready for this. According to Shah, a committee of three ministers from each of both states will discuss the current border dispute as well as suggest solutions to small other issues related to the areas adjacent to the border.
Shah said the attempt was made to target local travelers and traders amid the ongoing border dispute. To deal with this, a committee will be formed under the leadership of a senior IPS officer, who will take over the responsibility of maintaining law and order, and peace in these areas.
