Actor dies: Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar dies of a heart attack during a workout, section 144 in Karnataka, all theaters closed

Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar has died of a heart attack while working out at the gym. Soon after the heart attack, 46-year-old Puneet was admitted to Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru. There is a wave of mourning in the whole of Karnataka due to his death. All theaters are being closed in the state. Section 144 has been imposed in some areas of the city to control the fans. Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai also reached the hospital.

 

Puneet's father Rajkumar was an icon of South Indian cinema. He was the first actor in the Kannada film industry to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. She was kidnapped from Tamil Nadu in July 2000 by sandalwood smuggler Veerappan. Puneet started his career as a child artist, he was also honored with National Award.

 

Ram Gopal Varma paid tribute

Film director Ram Gopal Varma wrote in his post, 'The sudden death of Puneet Rajkumar is a tragedy. It is also a scary eye-opener that any one of us can die at any time. So it is best to live life in fast forward mode.

 

R Madhavan said - heartbroken

After the demise of actor Puneet, R Madhavan wrote, condoling, Gone, one of the kindest, loving, and noble souls. I don't know what I'm feeling. I am very shocked, brother, you have left all of us after breaking our hearts and leaving us confused. Heaven has been illuminated today. I am still hoping that this is not true. With folded hands, folded hands, the heart is broken.

 

Pooja Hegde pays tribute

 

Paying tribute, Pooja Hegde wrote, "Can't believe what I am hearing, life is very uncertain. Indian cinema has suffered a big loss today. Sending love and light to his family during this difficult time. May your soul rest in peace, Puneet. Broken heart and disappointed face.
