Respected personalities from all over the country had reached Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla. People of the Muslim community of the country expressed their happiness at this ceremony with enthusiasm.

Fatwa has been issued against Imam Dr. Umer Ahmed Ilyasi. He has received death threats along with calls for a religious boycott. However, the Imam has clearly said that he will not apologize to anyone.

 

Imam is considered a progressive religious leader.

Lakhs of imams from thousands of mosques across the country are associated with this organization. Umer Ahmed Ilyasi is known as a progressive religious leader. He has a special status in the Muslim community

 

What did the Imam say about CAA

In the year 2019-20, there were protests across the country including Delhi regarding CAA and NRC. At the same time, Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi had given a reaction regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act. He had said that the people protesting should first understand CAA and NRC. After this, if people feel that the Citizenship Amendment Act is wrong, then they can protest peacefully.

 

Mohan Bhagwat was called the Father of the Nation

In the year 2022, he met Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat. The Sangh chief and the Imam met at the mosque located on Kasturba Marg in Delhi. In the Madrasa of Azadpur, he had called Mohan Bhagwat the national sage and president.

 

Imam Omar Ahmed Ilyasi has received death threats several times. Therefore, he also got Y+ category security in the year 2022.
