Dr. Reddy's has drug plants in the United States, Britain, Brazil, Russia, and India. The drug company got the Russian Corona vaccine trial approved a few days ago. The Drugs Controller General of India (DGCI) allowed Dr. Reddy's to conduct the second and third phase trials of the Russian vaccine Sputnik-V in the country.

 

Here, a second wave of corona has started in many countries of the world. Along with this, the pace of death has also increased in these countries. It is a matter of relief that in India, the pace of death has started slowing down. On average, 700-800 people are losing their lives every day due to infection. In August-September, this figure had increased from 1 thousand to 1100.

 

If you look at the figures, the number of people who lost their lives every day in the month of August-September in the US was reduced to 400-600. Which has once again increased to 700-800. Similarly, in Spain, 50-100 patients were losing their lives, where now 150 to 290 deaths have started. There have been more than 1.16 lakh deaths in India so far. In the last 24 hours, 703 people have lost their lives.

 

So far, 77 lakh 5 thousand 158 people have been infected in the country. It is a matter of relief that the figure of those who have been cured has crossed 68 lakhs. 68 lakh 71 thousand 895 people have been cured. Currently, 7 lakh 15 thousand 509 patients are under treatment, while 1 lakh 16 thousand 653 people have died. In the last 24 hours, 56 thousand new cases were reported and 79 thousand 342 people were cured.

 

Looking at the statistics, more than 85% of the people in the top-5 infected states of the country have been cured. Maximum Andhra Pradesh has recovered 95.09%, Tamil Nadu 93.15%, and Uttar Pradesh 91.91% patients. 86.50% in Maharashtra and 85.25% in Karnataka have been cured so far. The country's average recovery rate is 88.82%.

 

Situation of five states

 

1. Madhya Pradesh

 

In the last 24 hours, 1118 new patients were found in the state and 1222 people were recovered. 17 infected died. So far 1 lakh 63 thousand 296 people have become corona positive. Of these, 12 thousand 386 patients are being treated, while 1 lakh 48 thousand 82 people have been cured. 2828 patients have died due to infection.

 

2. Rajasthan

 

In the state, in the last 24 hours, 1810 cases were found, 2865 people recovered and 14 patients died. So far, 1 lakh 78 thousand 933 people have been found infected in the state. Of these, 19 thousand 185 patients are still being treated, while 1 lakh 57 thousand 960 people have been cured. 1788 infected have lost their lives so far.

 

3. Bihar

 

In the last 24 hours, 1277 new patients were found in the state and 1319 people were cured. 8 infected were killed. The number of patients has now increased to 2 lakh 8 thousand 238. Of these, 11 thousand 10 patients are being treated, while 1 lakh 96 thousand 208 people have been cured. So far 1019 infected have died due to infection.

 

4. Maharashtra

 

The number of people who lost their lives due to infection in the state has increased to 24 lakh 633. In the last 24 hours, 180 patients died. 8142 new cases were found and 23 thousand 371 people were recovered. So far, 16 lakh 17 thousand 658 people have been found infected. Among them, 1 lakh 58 thousand 852 patients are being treated, while 14 lakh 15 thousand 679 people have been cured.

 

5. Uttar Pradesh

 

The figure of corona patients in the state has been 4 lakh, 61 thousand 475 people. Within the last 24 hours, 2321 new cases were found and 3332 people recovered. 41 patients died. So far, 4 lakh 25 thousand 356 people have been recovered from the infection. Currently, 29 thousand 364 patients are under treatment. 6755 patients have died.
