Air Travel Covid Guidelines: It is no longer mandatory to wear a face mask during air travel, wear it for safety

The cases of coronavirus infection have reduced significantly in the country and the havoc of the virus has now reduced considerably. Because of the decrease in infection, now the restrictions imposed regarding corona have also been reduced. At the same time, in the midst of all this, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued new guidelines for air travelers (Air Travel Covid Guidelines).

 

According to the new guidelines of Covid issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, now passengers will not be fined for not wearing face masks during domestic air travel. Domestic air passengers have been given the freedom not to wear face masks but now it is advised to wear face masks during international flights.

The ministry said on Wednesday that it is not mandatory to wear masks during air travel, but they should use masks despite the decreasing number of coronavirus cases. Till now, the use of masks was mandatory while traveling on flights. In a communication issued to the airline, the ministry said the decision has been taken in line with the government's policy of a graded approach to COVID-19 management response.

 

Corona cases have come down significantly in the country

 

In the last 24 hours, 501 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the country. Till now the number of infected people has increased to 4,46,66,676. At the same time, the number of active patients has come down from 7,918 to 7,561 now. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, the death toll has increased to 5,30,535 due to the loss of 2 more patients during the last 24 hours due to corona infection. Of these, one corona-infected patient was from Gujarat, and the other was from Rajasthan.

 

According to the released data, the number of active patients of corona infection in the country has come down to 7,561, which is 0.02 percent of the total cases. At the same time, the national rate of recovery of patients is 98.79 percent. So far 4,41,28,580 patients have defeated this deadly virus in the country.
