Amit Shah said, 'I had a review meeting with Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel and officials of the security forces. The officers said that this fight should not be weakened, which shows that the morale of our soldiers is intact. He further said that I want to assure the countrymen that this fight (against Naxalites) will intensify and we will win it in the end. We have successfully camped in the interior areas in the last few years, harassing the Naxalites, resulting in such incidents.

 

Shah said - In the last few years, the fight against Naxalism has reached a turning point and this unfortunate incident has taken this fight two steps ahead.

After meeting with senior officials, Amit Shah said that the fight against the Naxalites will increase until the end is reached. Shah said that in the meeting only the army men said that the fight should not stop.

Kuldeep Singh, Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), who is in Chhattisgarh to monitor the situation after the Naxalite attack, said on Sunday that there was no intelligence or operational failure in the operation at all. Singh said that around 25-30 Naxalites were also killed, although the exact number has not been ascertained.

 

 

DG CRPF told ANI, 'It is no surprise to say that there was any kind of intelligence or operational failure. If it was some intelligence failure, the army would not have gone for the operation. And if some operational failure happens, so many Naxalites would not be killed.

 

On the casualties of the Naxalites in the encounter, the DG said, 'Three tractors were used by the Naxals to carry the bodies of the injured and the dead from the site. It is difficult to say what is the exact number of Naxalites killed in the operation, but it will not be less than 25-30.
