Amit Shah will visit Tripura today: Will flag off BJP's Jan Vishwas Rath Yatra, elections in the state this year

Union Home Minister will be on the Tripura tour today. There he will flag off BJP's Rath Yatra at 11.30 am. The Rath Yatra has been named 'Jan Vishwas Yatra'. It will start from the Dharmanagar district of Tripura. Shah is also expected to address a rally at Sabroom in the South Tripura district. This journey will end on January 12 under the leadership of BJP National President JP Nadda.

 

Tripura BJP President Rajeev Bhattacharya said that around 10 lakh people are expected to participate in the Jan Vishwas Yatra. It will cover all the 60 assembly constituencies of the state. He said that the purpose of the yatra is to showcase the development works done by the BJP government since 2018. Let us inform you that assembly elections are to be held in the state this year. For which the BJP has started preparations.

Amit Shah's plane made an emergency landing in Guwahati on Wednesday night before reaching Tripura. According to the information, he was going to Agartala, but due to bad weather, the plane could not land there, so the plane landed at the popular Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati.

 

BJP preparing to win Tripura

Assembly elections are to be held in Tripura this year. BJP has made preparations to win Tripura. The party has already started campaigning. According to the information, the Election Commission team is going to visit Tripura soon. The team will review the preparations for the assembly elections there. Election Commission officials can reach Tripura on 11 January.

 

There are a total of 60 assembly seats in the state. For the first time in 2018, the BJP government was formed in Tripura. The BJP and its ally IPFT together won 41 seats here. Before 2018, the CPI-M had a government for 25 years, but the CPI-M's vote share in that year's assembly elections was less than 45%. The Left won 18 seats.

 

Amit Shah will visit 11 states in January

The Union Home Minister is scheduled to visit 11 states in January as part of an exercise called Lok Sabha Pravas. It will start with North East. Shah will visit Tripura, Nagaland, and Manipur on January 5 and 6. Will go to Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand on 7th January. He will then head south to visit Andhra Pradesh on January 8.

 

Shah is also likely to visit Karnataka on January 28, where it will go to polls again later this year. The names of Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal are also included in the list. Shah will visit these states on 16 and 17 January. At the end of the month, senior BJP leaders will visit Haryana and Punjab.

 

BJP's mission-2024

The BJP's focus is on the assembly elections to be held in the states in 2023 as well as the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Shah's campaign is part of the BJP's Mission 350 for the Lok Sabha. The party aims to win at least 350 of the 543 Lok Sabha seats in the general elections next year.
