Another poster girl of Congress in Uttar Pradesh has given a big blow to the party. Party leader Vandana, who saw the poster of Shakti Vidhan, has announced to leave the Congress and join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is upset over the preference being given to new faces in the party over old workers. Vandana also said that Priyanka Gandhi does not give meeting time to party workers. She has not been able to meet him for two years. Priyanka Maurya, the poster girl of the 'Girl Hoon, Fight Hoon' campaign, has already left Congress and joined the BJP. She too was upset over not getting the ticket.

 

Angered by not getting the tick, Vandana Singh said in a conversation with the TV channel, I have been active in Congress for 5-6 years. I am the office bearer, I am the state vice-president of Mahila Morcha. Priyanka Ji said that if you give 40 percent chance to women, I thought I would also be given a chance, but it did not happen.

 

Vandana said that the party ignored the old workers and gave tickets to those people who came to the party a few days back. If the old people are ignored like this, then no one is going to raise the flag of the party. Vandana said that she tried to meet the party's top leadership and Priyanka Gandhi before resigning, but was not given time. Vandana said that she has not been able to meet Priyanka Gandhi for two years.
