According to the Meteorological Department, there is no hope of relief from the heat in Uttar Pradesh yet. The minimum temperature in the capital Lucknow today is 28 degrees and the maximum temperature can be 42 degrees. At the same time, the minimum temperature in Ghaziabad today is 26 degrees and the maximum temperature can be 41 degrees.
Temperature likely to rise in Himachal
The weather is expected to remain clear in Himachal Pradesh on Thursday, due to which the temperature will increase. The rain that occurred in many places for two days had brought relief from the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will change once again from May 20 in the state. There is also a warning of rain and hail in many places.

According to Skymet Weather, moderate to heavy rains will continue over some parts of Coastal Karnataka, parts of Kerala, South Interior Karnataka, Andaman, and the Nicobar Islands as well as Sikkim and West Assam. Light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls may occur over the rest parts of Northeast India, Rayalaseema, and Lakshadweep. While isolated parts of North Interior Karnataka, parts of Tamil Nadu, South Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and East Bihar may receive light rain with one or two moderate rains. Light rain is possible over West Himalayas, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Goa, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and parts of South Madhya Maharashtra.
Red alert for heavy rain in Kerala
Talking about Kerala, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for many areas. Heavy rain has been predicted for the next four days. In that meeting, all the preparations have been brainstormed and the strategy has been worked out to deal with a situation like floods.

Apart from Kerala, a flood-like situation has also arisen in Assam. Due to incessant rains in Assam, normal life has been disturbed due to floods and landslides in many areas. 1.97 lakh people in about 20 districts in the state are affected by this flood. According to the report of the Assam State Disaster Management Authority, 51,357 people have been affected in Cachar alone. Due to the first flood of the year, 652 villages in 46 revenue divisions have been affected and 16,645.61 hectares of cropland have been destroyed by the floodwaters.
