Army is present at many peaks here. It has also been said by the army that our soldiers are occupying the peaks because India's position on Line of Actual Control (LAC) is very clear.
Army sources also said that we have also captured Spangur Gap, considered difficult, Spangur Lake, and the Chinese road along its banks.
Round of meetings in India
National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval reviewed the situation on Tuesday amid heightened tension from Chinese incursions into Ladakh. It is being told that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh can call a high-level meeting today.
Meanwhile, India-China Army officers are meeting for the second consecutive day amid tension on the border in Ladakh. The talks are being held after a failed attempt to occupy China on a hill on the southern bank of Pangong So Lake. According to news agency ANI, officers of the brigade commander level of both countries are involved in the discussion. The meeting is being held in Moldo, 20 km from the Line of Control in the Chushul sector.
China tried to infiltrate the night of 29-30 August

Accordingly, on the night of 29-30 August, about 500 Chinese soldiers tried to occupy a hill, which was thwarted by the Indian Army. Army officials said that China intended to capture the Indian peak facing the hill named Black Top in its territory. After this, China could have a stronghold over a large area of Chushul.
