Agartala, March 21 (IANS) The IAS association's Tripura branch on Saturday demanded a CBI probe into the death of Karnataka's young IAS officer D.K. Ravi.
"The IAS (Indian Administrative Service) association's Tripura branch considered questions surrounding Ravi's death and calls for CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) inquiry," association secretary M. Nagaraju said in a statement.
"The association feels that in the interest of transparency and justice, the demand for CBI inquiry is justified and therefore, urge appropriate authority to order the CBI probe at once."
The 2009 batch IAS officer was found dead in his apartment in Bengaluru on Monday.
