Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the construction work of the divine sanctum sanctorum of the grand Ram temple being built at Ram Janmabhoomi. The Chief Minister laid the first stone for the construction of the grand sanctum sanctorum at the site of Ram Janmabhoomi by performing rock worship rituals. During this Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, Deputy CM Keshav Maurya, Treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Govind Dev Giri were present.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that it is a matter of luck for me to do the Shila-pujan of the sanctum sanctorum. The construction work of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple was started about 2 years ago with the lotus feet of Prime Minister Modi and this construction work is progressing successfully. Not only will the grand temple of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram be built in Ayodhya Dham, but it will also become a symbol of the faith of all the Sanatan Hindu religious people of the country and the world, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple will be the national temple of India.
Let us inform you that on August 5, 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed Bhoomi Pujan for the Ram temple. The foundation work of the temple has been completed and now with the construction of the sanctum sanctorum, a new era of cultural identity will begin. To see this day, the devotees of Ram fought a long struggle for nearly five centuries, and generations were sacrificed.
On March 1, 1528, the central sanctum, where Ram Lalla was seated, was destroyed along with the grand Ram temple by the cannonballs of Mir Baqi. Ramlala was deprived of his sanctum sanctorum and a mosque was built on that site from the ruins of the demolished temple. According to the books discussing the history of the struggle of Ramjanmabhoomi, after this, there were 76 wars, and lakhs of Ram devotees sacrificed their lives.
In 1859, some Nihang Sikhs succeeded in getting the Ramjanmabhoomi back for a few days, but even then Ramlala could not be established on their land. Amid miraculous events on the night of 22-23 December 1949, Ramlala appeared in the sanctum sanctorum, but the same building was synonymous with a blow to his identity, which was constructed to give the temple the appearance of a mosque.
After the demolition of the disputed building on December 6, 1992, Ramlala had to spend 27 years, three months, and 19 days without a permanent roof. On 25 March 2022, Ramlala got an alternate sanctum. According to the schedule, Ramlala may sit in the sanctum built at the original place till December 2023, but on Wednesday, with the start of construction of the grand sanctum sanctorum at the hands of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the joy of Ram devotees will be at the peak.
