Devotees were seen standing in long queues for hours waiting for their turn to pay obeisance at the Anandpur Sahib Gurdwara. Apart from this, devotees offered prayers at the famous Bangla Sahib Gurudwara located in Delhi. Tell that from this day the harvesting of ripe rabi crops starts.
Devotees take bath at Ganga Ghats
On the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, crowds of devotees are reaching all the Ganga ghats of Uttarakhand including Haridwar since early morning. A crowd of devotees reached Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar early in the morning and took a holy dip in the river Ganges. It is believed that thousands of years ago, Ganga descended on earth on this day, so devotees take a holy bath in the river Ganges.
