Devotees took a holy bath in the lake of the Golden Temple
On Baisakhi, the main festival of Sikhism, devotees from all over Uttarakhand, Haryana, and Delhi to Punjab are engrossed in devotion. Various Gurudwaras are decorated in very beautiful ways. A large number of devotees have reached the Golden Temple located in Amritsar, Punjab since early morning. There, long queues of people are being seen. Devotees offered prayers after reaching the Golden Temple. Along with this, he also took a holy bath in the lake of the Golden Temple.

Apart from the Golden Temple, long queues of devotees were also seen at Anandpur Sahib Gurdwara in Rupnagar and Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Gurdwara at Talwandi Sabo in Bathinda. On this auspicious festival, devotees bow their heads and make wishes for their good life. Along with that Ardas were also offered in the Gurudwara. Devotees were seen standing in long queues for hours waiting for their turn to pay obeisance at the Anandpur Sahib Gurdwara. Apart from this, devotees offered prayers at the famous Bangla Sahib Gurudwara located in Delhi. Tell that from this day the harvesting of ripe rabi crops starts.
Devotees take bath at Ganga Ghats
On the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, crowds of devotees are reaching all the Ganga ghats of Uttarakhand including Haridwar since early morning. A crowd of devotees reached Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar early in the morning and took a holy dip in the river Ganges. It is believed that thousands of years ago, Ganga descended on earth on this day, so devotees take a holy bath in the river Ganges. Because of this, elaborate security arrangements have been made in Haridwar. An adequate number of police personnel have also been deployed on the highway to maintain smooth traffic.

It is believed that Guru Gobind Singh founded the Khalsa Panth on the day of Baisakhi. Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th Guru of the Sikhs, laid the foundation of the Khalsa Pant in Anandpur Sahib on the day of Baisakhi in the year 1699.
