Under the guidance of both the leaders, our bilateral relations are progressing strongly.” During the meeting, Prime Minister Hasina said that the two countries will have to further enhance connectivity.

Northeast states will benefit from the Chittagong port

Hasina's press secretary Ehsanul Karim said the Bangladesh PM told Jaishankar that India's northeastern region would particularly benefit from using Bangladesh's southeast Chittagong port.
