
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Global Patidar Business Summit (GPBS) in Surat, Gujarat on Friday. The program is being organized by Sardardham. This program will take place virtually at noon on Friday. The PMO has given this information.
The program will run for three days
The three-day event will be organized from April 29 to May 1. Sardardham is organizing the GPBS under 'Mission 2026' to accelerate the social and economic development of the Patidar community. This summit is held every two years. The first two summits were held in 2018 and 2020 in Gandhinagar and the current summit is now being held in Surat.
What is the main theme of GPBS 2022?
The main theme of GPBS 2022 has been kept as 'Aatmanirbhar Community to Self-reliant Gujarat and India'. The summit aims to bring together small, medium, and large enterprises within the community. As well as nurturing and supporting new entrepreneurs and providing training and employment support to educated youth. The three-day summit covers various aspects of government industrial policy, MSMEs, start-ups, innovation, etc.
