BCCI Announces Series Against West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Australia; View Full Schedule in One Click

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released the schedule for Team India’s 2026-27 home international season on Thursday. The upcoming home season promises to feature thrilling and action-packed encounters. Four visiting teams—the West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Australia—will tour India to play multi-format cricket. A total of 22 international matches will be played across 17 cities during this season.

The season will commence with the West Indies’ tour of India. This tour is scheduled to begin on September 27, 2026. During this period, a three-match ODI series between India and the West Indies will be played, followed by a five-match T20I series. The ODI matches will be held in Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, and New Chandigarh, while the T20I matches will take place in Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.

 

 

West Indies Tour of India

1st ODI: September 27, Thiruvananthapuram

2nd ODI: September 30, Guwahati

3rd ODI: October 3, New Chandigarh

1st T20I: October 6, Lucknow

2nd T20I: October 9, Ranchi

3rd T20I: October 11, Indore

4th T20I: October 14, Hyderabad

5th T20I: October 17, Bengaluru

 

 

India to Host Sri Lanka

India will host Sri Lanka in December 2026. During this tour, a series comprising three ODIs and three T20Is will be played. The ODI matches are scheduled to be held in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad, while the T20I matches will take place in Rajkot, Cuttack, and Pune. Sri Lanka’s Tour of India

3 ODI Matches to be Played

At the start of the new year, the Zimbabwe team will tour India. During this tour, a three-match ODI series will be played. These matches will take place in Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.

 

 

Zimbabwe’s Tour of India

1st ODI: January 3, 2027 – Kolkata

2nd ODI: January 6, 2027 – Hyderabad

3rd ODI: January 9, 2027 – Mumbai

 

 

Border-Gavaskar Trophy

The season will conclude with the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, featuring a five-match Test series against Australia. This series will commence on January 21, 2027, in Nagpur. Subsequently, the Test matches will be held in Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi, and Ahmedabad.

 

 

Australia’s Tour of India

1st Test: January 21–25, 2027 – Nagpur

2nd Test: January 29 – February 2 – Chennai

3rd Test: February 11–15 – Guwahati

4th Test: February 19–23 – Ranchi

5th Test: February 27 – March 3 – Ahmedabad
