Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Japan for the Quad conference to be held in Tokyo, the capital of Japan on Tuesday.

Apart from them, the heads of the other three countries of this organization, America, Australia, and Japan are also attending this meeting.

It is believed that this organization of four countries has been formed to reduce the dominance of China in the Indo-Pacific region. Since the formation of this organization, there are continuous agreements that can reduce the influence of China in the Indo-Pacific region.

China has always been vocal about the Quad and is constantly calling it a conspiracy against itself.

China has once again stated the Quad and said that it will fail.

what did china say

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was on a visit to China where he met his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Sunday.

During the joint press conference after this meeting in Guangzhou, Wang Yi was asked questions about the Quad summit, he said that America's Indo-Pacific region strategy is "bound to fail" and it has to be done to "limit" Beijing. Washington is expanding rapidly.

He described America's Indo-Pacific strategy as an attempt to erase the presence of the Asia-Pacific and said that it negates a framework of regional cooperation and that all countries in the region over several decades have built up a pace of peaceful development, which hurts him.

Wang said, "The essence of this strategy is to create division, provoke conflict and undermine peace. No matter how it is formed or appears, it is set up to fail." "

He said the 'Indo-Pacific Strategy' is creating greater alertness and concern for the international community, especially in the Asia-Pacific region.

China is calling this region the Asia-Pacific region and says that it is against the Indo-Pacific strategic concept.

This strategy of America gained prominence during the tenure of Donald Trump and was extended during the tenure of Joe Biden.

'Nato will not be made'

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has also mentioned NATO and the Cold War during his statement.

He said that while the Asia-Pacific region should become a place of peaceful development rather than a geopolitical one, making Asia-Pacific a bloc, NATO or Cold War would never succeed.

A free and independent Indo-Pacific region is one of the objectives of the Quad organization, which brings the US, Japan, India, and Australia on a single platform, while Beijing has dubbed it 'Asian Nato' and says it aims to prevent its rise. is.

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has arrived in China on his first foreign tour. After this meeting, Bilawal said that both the countries believe in strengthening an open and inclusive regional cooperation framework, the Cold War mindset, and resolving issues through dialogue and consultation instead of confrontation, which has mutual respect.

The US, India and several world powers have been advocating for an open Indo-Pacific following China's increasing military maneuvers in the resource-rich region.

China claims all of the disputed South China Sea, while Taiwan, the Philippines, Brunei, Malaysia, and Vietnam claim parts of it.

Beijing has established artificial islands and military installations in the South China Sea. China also has territorial disputes with Japan in the East China Sea.

Wang said the US's Indo-Pacific strategy is "cooked" in the name of "freedom and openness".

He said that the people of this region should tell America that the old Cold War scenario in Asia should never be repeated and that the turmoil and war that is happening in the world should never happen in this region.

The Chinese foreign minister did not say that countries like China are happy to see favorable initiatives to strengthen regional cooperation in the region but opposes the plot to create a divided conflict.

"First of all, we should look at the hidden motive behind this by raising a big question. Free trade should be promoted and it should not be adopted in the guise of protectionism."

What is Quad?

The word quad is derived from quadrilateral (quadruple) of 'quadrilateral security dialogue'. America, Japan, and Australia are included in this group along with India.

The creation of a group like the Quad was first discussed after the 2004 tsunami when India made rescue and relief efforts for itself and other affected neighbors, joined by the US, Australia, and Japan.

But the credit for this idea is given to the former Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe. Between 2006 and 2007, Abe managed to lay the foundation for the Quad, and the first informal meeting of the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue was held in Manila in August 2007 at the level of senior officials.

In the same year, four countries of the Quad and Singapore took part in a naval exercise in the Bay of Bengal known as Malabar. On all this, China reacted sharply and asked the Quad countries to tell whether the Quad is an anti-Beijing alliance. The Quad suffered another setback when Australia broke away shortly after.
