The farmers' agitation on the borders of Delhi against the new agricultural laws is about to complete 100 days, but there is no way to end it. The farmers sitting on the Singhu border have announced that they will intensify the movement. Farmers' organizations have decided to hold a protest on the KMP Expressway from 11 am to 5 pm on March 06 to protest. Different programs will be organized across the country from 06 March. More youth are being added. Fans, coolers, and ACs are being installed at the movement site to combat heat. Apart from this, arrangements for drinking water, chhabil, and sugarcane juice have been made. Farmers have also installed borewells at the protest site.

Singhu toll plaza closed: Police have already barricaded the way on GT Karnal road and closed the road. Now the path leading from the middle of the village of Singhu Border towards Kondli Outpost has also been closed by putting cement barricades. Only pedestrian and two-wheeler riders are allowed from here. Other four-wheelers, including cars, have been given the route from Jonti Toll to GT Karnal Road. On the way to Singhu village, the villagers have dug two places to supply water to the fields. Due to the closure of the road, the people of the surrounding villages and millions of people using GT Road are facing problems.

Enthusiasm: The enthusiasm of the farmers remains on display. Here a group of youths were seen marching and shouting slogans. Elders were seen walking with banners in hand. In traditional dress, women were seen coming from villages like Jind, Karnal, Sonipat, etc. in Haryana. Farmer leaders were urging more and more people, especially the youth, to gather at the protest venue, stating the strategy ahead.

Exercise to garner support from inside Delhi

Efforts are on to garner support for the peasant movement from within Delhi. For this, the Delhi Pradesh Kisan Mazdoor Morcha has been formed. There are also plans to conduct maha panchayat in different parts of Delhi through this front. On March 8, candle march will be taken out at Jantar Mantar by Kisan Social Army. Through this, attention will be paid to the issues related to the people, as well as paying tribute to those who were martyred during the Kisan movement.

Blockade preparations on KMP Expressway

On 06 March, a five-hour blockade will be carried out on the KMP Expressway connecting various picketing sites. The road will be jammed between 11 am and 4 pm. Here the toll plaza will also be made free.

Opposition of the government in electoral states

There will be anti-government protests in the states where elections are going to be held. March 8 will be celebrated as Women's Farmers Day. On March 8, women will operate the dharna sites of all the United Farmers Front of the country. On this day only women will manage the stage and will also be speakers. United Kisan Morcha has invited women's organizations and others on that day. The farmers have supported the anti-privatization day on March 15, on the call of the central trade unions. Farmers will celebrate this day as an anti-corporate day.
