A rapid vaccination campaign is going on in the country for the prevention of the coronavirus. Millions of people have been vaccinated so far, while a large number of new registrations are taking place. Meanwhile, the Central Government has made a big change on Co-Win after receiving many complaints. On May 8, those registering on Co-Win will be given a four-digit security code, which they will have to provide at the time of going to apply the vaccine. The government has admitted that many people who had booked slots for vaccination were being shown to be vaccinated. Due to this, the government has launched the security feature.

The Union Health Ministry said that while booking for vaccination, people will get a four-digit security code on the cowin.gov.in website. After this, when you give this code at the vaccination center, you will also be able to see your digital certificate. This feature has been added after people complained that they were yet to get a single dose, but the message has come to them that a dose has been put. These people had only got their registration done on Co-Win. The ministry said that this will ensure that the vaccine status of anyone who has taken an appointment for online vaccination should be filled correctly. It is only for those taking an online appointment. ''

This security code, known as the Vaccinator, will also be printed on the slip. At the same time, a four-digit security code will also be asked before the vaccine is placed. The Ministry has advised that whenever a person goes for vaccination, he should also take a digitized or printed copy of the appointment letter with him so that the security code should not be difficult to find. Let us know that from May 1, the third phase vaccination campaign started, under which people between the age of 18-44 can get vaccinated. However, these people have to book online.

Know how to get your registration done on Co-Win

-Co-Win is not a mobile app. Registration can be done through the website or the Arogya Setu App.

-The mobile number will have to be registered on Co-Win. OTP will go on your mobile, which you will need to enter.

During the registration, you also have to fill which ID card you will use. This ID will also have to be taken at the time of vaccination.

After this, you will see many types of booking slots. From this, you can select the day you want to get the vaccine or it will be available. People can get vaccinated in private and government hospitals.

- After the completion of the booking at the vaccination slot, you will be given a four-digit security code.
