Talking about the four big cities of the country, there was no change in the price of petrol and diesel in the capital Delhi even on August 30. In Delhi, a liter of petrol costs Rs 96.72 per liter, and a liter of diesel is available at Rs 89.62 per liter. Apart from Delhi, petrol is available in Mumbai at Rs 106.31 and diesel at Rs 94.27 per liter, while in Kolkata petrol is available at Rs 106.03 and diesel at Rs 92.76 per liter. There was no change in the price of oil in Chennai as well and here also petrol is available at Rs 102.63 and diesel at Rs 94.24 per liter.

Bharat Petroleum consumers can get information by typing their city code with RSP and message to 9223112222 and Hindustan Petroleum customers can find HP prizes and rates by typing their city code on 9222201122.

 

Rates changed in May

 

On May 21, the excise duty on petrol was reduced by six rupees and on diesel by eight rupees by the central government. Since then, there has been no change in the price of oil in the country.
