This work can be done before the UP assembly elections
Farmers of UP, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Punjab have been agitating on the border of Delhi for the last ten months. United Kisan Morcha is conducting mahapanchayat in UP and Uttarakhand. RSS-affiliated Bharatiya Kisan Sangh has also advocated for a guarantee law on MSP. Meanwhile, there are indications from the central government to make MSP legal. Due to the opposition of party MLAs and leaders in western UP, this work can also be done before the UP assembly elections. BJP leaders with farmer image have also suggested to the high command to increase the rate of sugarcane.
Not A2, MSP should be from the C2 formula: Farmer leaders say that Swaminathan will only accept the C2 formula given by the commission. State spokesperson of BKU Dharmendra Malik says that the demand of the Morcha is the withdrawal of three agricultural laws and legalizing the MSP.

What are the formulas of MSP?
The Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP), which calculates MSP, has created three categories of cost of cultivation. A2, A2 plus FL, and C2. The A2 formula covers the cost of seeds, fertilizers, fuel, and irrigation by farmers for crop production. The estimated remuneration of the farmer family is also added to the cost of crop production in the A2+FL formula.
At the same time, the commercial model of farming has been adopted in the C2 formula. This includes the total cash cost and the farmer's family remuneration, apart from the rent of the farmland and interest on the total agricultural capital.
