BJP Candidates List 2022: BJP announced candidates for UP elections, CM Yogi will contest from Gorakhpur city

UP Election BJP Candidates List 2022: The assembly elections in the country's most populous state, Uttar Pradesh, have been held. Today BJP has released its first list of 107 candidates. The big thing is that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will contest from Gorakhpur city. On the other hand, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya will contest from Sirathu seat of Prayagraj. In the meeting of the Central Election Committee, the BJP had discussed the names of the candidates for about 170 seats.

 

63 sitting MLAs got tickets again- BJP

 

BJP has announced a total of 107 names, out of which 63 sitting MLAs have been given tickets. In the first and second phases, BJP has cut the tickets to 20 MLAs. Among those who have been given tickets, 44 OBCs, 19 SCs, and 10 women have been given tickets. Talking in terms of percentage, 68% of candidates are OBC, SC, and women.

 

UP emerged as number-1 in the form of development in the country- BJP

 

 

During this, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, "Yogi Ji's government has worked to crack down on goonda raj, corrupt, the mafia in the last 5 years. Daughters can roam fearlessly even at night. I can confidently say that Yogi Ji has made UP a riot-free state. Today medical colleges are opening in UP, expressways are being built. The UP which was once known as BIMARU state, today the same UP has emerged as number-1 in the form of development in the country.

 

Party on the back foot after MLAs leave BJP

 

The party has been on the back foot after the ministers in the Yogi government, including Swami Prasad Maurya, Dara Singh Chauhan, Dharam Singh Saini, and their supporters left the BJP and joined the Samajwadi Party.

 

UP election results will come on March 10

 

Let us inform you that the voting for 403 assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh in seven phases will start from February 10. Voting will be held in UP in seven phases on 10, 14, 20, 23, 27, and March 3 and 7. While the counting of votes will take place on March 10. The Election Commission has not allowed any political rallies and roadshows till January 15 for the assembly elections in UP, Punjab, Goa, Manipur, and Uttarakhand because of Corona.
