BJP denies fund raising dinner for Modi

New Delhi, March 15 (IANS) The Bharatiya Janata Party Saturday denied it was holding a fund raising dinner for its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, following the footsteps of AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal.

"This information is baseless. We have never conceived any such programme," senior BJP leader Prakash Javadekar said Saturday, in wake of reports in a section of media said a fund raising dinner with Modi was being hosted by the BJP here.

"Our programme is 'tea with Modi' and not 'dinner with Modi with a price tag'," he said.

The reports said that Modi will be attending a fund raiser dinner in the Asoka Hotel and the money collected will be deposited in 'Modi for PM' fund.
