BMC Polls: Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray will come together for the BMC elections, says Sanjay Raut – "We remained separate for 20 years and suffered the consequences."

The Thackeray brothers have surprised everyone with a major decision in Maharashtra politics. Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray will contest the BMC elections together. Before the alliance announcement, Uddhav Thackeray and MNS chief Raj Thackeray paid tribute to Balasaheb Thackeray at his memorial in Shivaji Park with their families.

 

 

Regarding the alliance, Sanjay Raut said that Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray will unite today to announce the electoral alliance. He said, "This is a moment of joy for Maharashtra and the Marathi people. Balasaheb Thackeray founded the Shiv Sena here for the local residents."

 

 

'This moment was long-awaited,' says MNS leader

On the alliance announcement, MNS leader Yashwant Killedar said that the two brothers are coming together, and we have been waiting for this moment for a long time. He said that what is happening today is a matter of joy for us. Killedar said, "Both brothers will come to Balasaheb Thackeray's memorial and then hold a press conference. They will announce the alliance there. The workers of both parties are very excited."

 

 

'United to teach BJP a lesson,' says Sanjay Raut

The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader said, "The Thackeray brothers were not together for 20 years, and Maharashtra suffered a great loss because of it. Now, Uddhav and Raj Thackeray have united to teach the BJP a lesson and stop the ongoing corruption in Mumbai. We will contest the elections together in the 10 municipal corporations of Mumbai."
