Upcoming IPOs: 20 New Issues to Open This Week, 4 Mainboard and 16 SME IPOs; Check GMP

Posted on 28th Sep 2026 01:46 pm by rohit kumar

The Indian primary market is set for a busy trading week, with 20 new IPOs scheduled to open for subscription around the September 28 week. The lineup includes four mainboard IPOs and 16 SME issues, with the combined fundraising expected to be around ₹1,292 crore.

The trading week is also shorter because the stock market will remain closed on Friday, October 2, for Gandhi Jayanti. Investors will therefore have four trading sessions from Monday, September 28, through Thursday, October 1.

20 IPOs to Open This Week

The mainboard segment includes SRIT India, Shah Investor's Home, Nityas Gems & Jewellery and Vishal Nirmiti, while the remaining 16 issues belong to the SME segment. The four mainboard IPOs together aim to raise around ₹595 crore, with SME issues accounting for roughly ₹697 crore.

Mainboard IPOs

IPO                                    Opening Date         Price Band

SRIT India                            September 28        ₹123–₹130

Shah Investor's Home     September 28 ₹159–₹167

Nityas Gems & Jewellery     September 30 ₹70–₹75

Vishal Nirmiti                     September 30      —

SRIT India is seeking to raise approximately ₹218.40 crore, while Shah Investor's Home is targeting around ₹90.17 crore.

Which Upcoming IPO Has the Highest GMP?

Among the upcoming issues, Vans Electroengineerings IPO is currently showing a GMP of ₹45 on one of the latest grey-market trackers. With the IPO's upper price band at ₹118, the reported GMP represents an indicative premium of about 38% over the issue price.

Other GMP trackers can show different figures because grey-market premiums are unofficial and can change during the day. For example, another live tracker currently shows different GMP levels for SRIT India and Shah Investor's Home.

Therefore, investors should check the latest GMP immediately before publication or before making any investment decision.

Upcoming IPOs and Current GMP

Based on the figures provided in the latest market tracking data, the key GMP indications include:

IPO                                               Indicative GMP

Vans Electroengineerings                     ₹45

Shah Investor's Home                      ₹9

EverestIMS Technologies                       ₹13

Shree TNB Polymers                               ₹8

Most other upcoming issues        ₹0/not quoted

GMP figures can move sharply as an IPO opening date approaches. A zero GMP does not necessarily mean an IPO will list at its issue price; it simply indicates that no premium is being quoted in the tracked grey market at that point.

Why Is GMP Zero for Many IPOs?

The Grey Market Premium (GMP) is an unofficial market indicator reflecting the premium at which IPO shares may be traded in the grey market before their official listing.

For several upcoming IPOs, GMP may currently be reported as zero or may not yet be actively quoted. This can change once subscription begins and market participants become more active.

Importantly, GMP is not regulated by stock exchanges and is not an official indication of the listing price. It can change before listing and should not be treated as a guarantee of returns.

Key SME IPOs Opening This Week

Several SME issues are scheduled to open during the week, including Vans Electroengineerings, EverestIMS Technologies, Papadmalji Agro Foods, Black Opal Consultants, Acme Universal Safezone 9, Shree TNB Polymers, Pind Hospitality and Shivchem Agro.

Some of these issues require substantially higher minimum applications than mainboard IPOs because of their SME market-lot structures. Investors should therefore check the lot size, minimum application amount, financial performance and risk factors before applying.

IPO Calendar: Important Dates

The first major openings of the week include SRIT India and Shah Investor's Home on September 28. Several SME issues open on September 28 and September 29, while additional IPOs including Nityas Gems & Jewellery and several SME offerings open on September 30.

SRIT India's IPO is scheduled to close on September 30, with allotment expected on October 1 and listing on October 6.

What Should Investors Check Before Applying?

Before applying for any of the 20 IPOs, investors should look beyond GMP and examine:

IPO price band and valuation

Issue size and fresh issue/OFS structure

Company's revenue and profit growth

Debt and cash flows

Promoter background

Minimum investment and lot size

IPO subscription trends

Business risks disclosed in the prospectus

Mainboard or SME listing status

Latest GMP, while remembering that GMP is unofficial

Upcoming IPOs This Week: Key Takeaways

India's primary market is entering one of its busiest stretches, with 20 IPOs lined up across mainboard and SME segments and approximately ₹1,292 crore expected to be raised.

Among the issues being tracked in the grey market, Vans Electroengineerings is currently showing a ₹45 GMP on one tracker, although GMP figures are subject to change and differ across sources.

Investors should therefore treat GMP as a market sentiment indicator rather than an assured listing-gain forecast.
