From now on, the country's general budget is going to be presented. From the common man to people from every field, there will be expectations from this eighth budget to be presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. In such a situation, if we talk about the education sector, then the students want the fellowship should be increased so that the students can focus on their research program and they do not have to worry about the fund.

According to a report, the Students Federation of India had recently made this demand from the central government. In this demand, the Federation had said that the government should reconsider the current fellowship increase and increase it by a minimum of 40% keeping in mind the rising cost of living. Also, it should be kept in mind that the fellowship should be distributed on time and regularly so that the researchers can focus on their research without worrying about finances.

States are demanding more funds to implement the Four Year Undergraduate Program.

States are also demanding an increase in the education budget. According to a report, the states say that more funds are needed to implement the four-year bachelor program (FYUP) under NEP. States say that to implement FYUP, they will have to build new classrooms. New faculty and other basic things will be needed, which will increase the cost. In such a situation, all this will not be possible without the help of the Center.
