Children cannot watch Hollywood movies in North Korea: Kim's order – 5 years in jail for watching foreign shows, parents will also be trapped

In North Korea, parents can be jailed if their children watch a Hollywood movie or series. For watching any movie from Hollywood or South Korea, the children will have to be punished for 5 years and their parents will have to do 6 months' wages.

 

Announcing the new law during a meeting in Pyongyang, it was said that parents should take care of what their children are watching from time to time. If parents do not raise children well at home, they will grow up praising capitalism and becoming anti-socialists.

Warning issued in North Korea regarding the new law

Under the new law, if anyone allows their children to watch foreign films or shows, they will be punished severely. Its warning has been issued. Till now the parents of the children were let off after giving a warning, but in the new law, strict action will be taken against the child and the parents even for the first offense.

 

This warning is not limited to movies only. In North Korea, if any foreigner, especially from South Korea, is found dancing, singing, or talking about traditional dance, then he and his parents will be punished for 6 months.

 

2 students were given a death sentence

Earlier on December 6, two children studying in high school in North Korea were sentenced to death. According to the report of Radio Free Asia, the age of both students was 15-16 years. He was shot publicly in front of the crowd. Both the students also distributed many Korean dramas to their friends. There is tension between North Korea and South Korea. Due to this, the people of North Korea cannot watch shows and movies made in South Korea.
