Coforge Share Price Jumps 10% as Q1 Profit Doubles; Dividend Declared—Know the Record Date

IT services company Coforge shares surged nearly 10% in Tuesday's trading after the company reported robust June quarter (Q1 FY27) earnings and announced an interim dividend of ₹4 per equity share. Investors cheered the strong financial performance, healthy margin expansion, and a sharp increase in the company's order book.

 

The stock opened at ₹1,565.05 on the BSE against its previous close of ₹1,528.45 and climbed to an intraday high of ₹1,678. Around 10:15 AM, the stock was trading at ₹1,676.35, up 9.68%.

Q1 FY27: Profit More Than Doubles

 

Coforge delivered an impressive financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

 

Revenue: ₹5,527.7 crore, up 49% YoY

Net Profit: ₹518.6 crore, up 110% YoY

Revenue (USD): $592.2 million, up 33.3% YoY

 

The strong growth reflects healthy demand across the company's digital transformation and AI-led technology services.

 

₹4 Interim Dividend; Record Date Announced

 

Along with its quarterly results, Coforge's board approved an interim dividend of ₹4 per equity share.

 

Dividend: ₹4 per equity share

Record Date: August 3, 2026

 

Shareholders holding the company's shares on the record date will be eligible to receive the dividend.

 

Margins Improve Significantly

 

The company also reported strong operational performance.

 

EBITDA: ₹1,123.3 crore (up 74% YoY)

EBITDA Margin: 20.3%, expanding by 285 basis points

EBIT: ₹882.2 crore (up 101% YoY)

EBIT Margin: 16%, improving by 414 basis points

 

The margin expansion highlights improved operational efficiency and stronger profitability.

 

Order Book Hits Record Levels

 

Coforge's executable order book for the next 12 months stood at $2.23 billion as of June 30, 2026.

 

27% growth compared to the previous quarter

44% growth compared to the same period last year

 

The strong order pipeline provides healthy revenue visibility for the coming quarters.
