Anti-drone guns have been deployed for the security of VIPs during election rallies in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. Confirming this, a senior NSG official said that the security of the Prime Minister, Home Minister, Defense Minister, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and others are being kept tight during the election tour.

He said that anti-drone guns are being deployed in the rallies. Earlier, anti-drone guns were deployed in the assembly elections in the north. These proved to be very useful in rescuing VIPs from any air attack. Meanwhile, the Ahmedabad Rural Police has registered an FIR against three private drone fliers during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally.

According to the news agency IANS, bookies who run the betting market have predicted that the BJP government may be seen again in Gujarat. He has projected 125 seats for the saffron party in the 182-member assembly. A bookie said on condition of anonymity, “As per our assessment we are predicting 125-139 for BJP, 40-50 for Congress, and only 6-7 for Aam Aadmi Party.
