New Delhi, Feb 4 (IANS) It was a cold and foggy morning here Wednesday, delaying over 15 trains, officials said.
The visibility in the morning was less than 50 meters. Northern Railway officials said 15 trains were running late and one was rescheduled.
"There was dense fog in the morning. The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 21 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The minimum temperature settled at 11.3 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
Humidity was 97 percent at 8.30 a.m.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was 23.1 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average and the minimum temperature was 13.1 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average.
