Because of the decrease in the cases of corona infection, the Punjab government has decided to relax the restrictions in the state from June 16. From Wednesday, restaurants, dhabas, cinema halls, and gyms can be opened in the state with 50 percent capacity.

However, the Punjab government has said that only those places will be allowed to open in which the employees working at least one dose of Korana vaccine will be given. According to the new order of the Punjab government, places like bars, clubs, and compounds will remain closed in the state for now. The government has taken this decision when the rate of corona infection in the state has now come down to 2 percent.

The Punjab government has made it clear that the state has not been fully unlocked. The government has said that the night curfew will continue from 8 pm to 5 am. Along with this, a weekend curfew will also be imposed from 8 pm on Saturday to 5 am on Monday.

In Punjab, from June 21, all college and school teachers, non-teaching staff, and students of the age group of 18 years to 45 years will be started applying the corona vaccine.
