The death of a 68-year-old man has been confirmed in India due to the corona vaccine. The panel constituted by the government has confirmed this. The elderly were given a dose of the vaccine on March 8, after which they showed side effects like anaphylaxis. After that, he had died. This is a kind of allergic reaction. Due to this, the rash emerges very fast in the body.

According to the committee's report, 31 cases of people with serious side effects were studied after getting the vaccine in India, out of which 28 had died. However, only one of these people died due to the vaccine, and 3 people recovered after being admitted to the hospital.

3 people were admitted to the hospital after getting the vaccine due to serious side effects and went home after making full recovery. The condition of 2 of them worsened due to the reaction to the vaccine and the condition of one worsened due to the fear of the vaccine.

Two more people showed signs of anaphylaxis

According to the report, the report prepared under the chairmanship of Dr. NK Arora, chairman of the AEFI committee, said that after two more people got the vaccine, the problem of anaphylaxis came to the fore. His age was around 20 years. However, after treatment in the hospital, both were fully recovered. They were vaccinated on 16 and 19 January. One of these was fitted with Coveshield and one Covaxin.

3 more deaths yet to be confirmed

According to the report, the vaccine has been believed to be the cause of three more deaths but is yet to be confirmed. The report of the government panel says that whatever reactions are coming out related to the vaccine, they were already expected. Vaccinations can be attributed to these based on existing scientific evidence. These reactions can be related to allergies or similar to anaphylaxis.

These cases were investigated

The committee said that these 31 serious cases that came out after vaccination have been divided into different parts according to the effect of the vaccine.

18 Cases: Coincidence cases not related to vaccination. i.e. cases reported after vaccination for which a clear cause other than vaccination is found.

7 Cases: Indeterminate means for which there is no definitive evidence or clinical trial data. Further analysis or study is needed.

Case 3: Vaccine product-related reactions or anaphylaxis.

Case 2: Unclassified i.e. those that have been investigated, but sufficient evidence is not found due to missing important information. The matter may be reconsidered.

Case 1: Anxiety about the vaccine or unconsciousness, that is, admitted to the hospital due to excessive worry about the vaccine.
